Which motherboard

hi, I am looking at building a pc for gaming with ryzen 3900x, 2080ti gpu and 32gb of 3200hz ram.

What is the difference between these two motherboards apart from price?

I will be using a 240hz monitor with 1ms refresh to play games like Fortnite at 240fps, GTA 5, Warzone, CSGO etc at high fps. And I would like it to be able to run Fligh Sim 2020 when that's released.

Which of those two motherboards would you recommend?
Is there no harm to the fps I will get if I go for the TUF?

Or is the motherboard irrelevant to what fps you can achieve?

That's only a 1080p monitor so the spec is completely over specced.

You can happily reduce the GPU to the 2070 Super without affecting performance at all.

1080p is a very old resolution and doesn't require very much power. The 2080ti is for 4k 144Hz.

I would up the board to the Strix though, it's just got better VRM support which is important for that CPU.

Always try with 2 x as it runs in dual channel so works best with matched pairs, so 2 x 16 would be best.
