Which rtx 2080 does pcspecialist use?

Hi there, I can't see anywhere on the site the brand of rtx 2080 that is built into the PCs that PCSpecialist make.

I am concerned about noise and want the quietest rtx 2080 at idle.

Also, will PCSpecialist switch to the super range for 2070 and 2060 on launch day? (July 9th)

Thanks in advance.

Tends to be Palit or Zotac for all Nvidia GPUs. Exact model can vary depending on supply.

They are likely to stock the Super GPUs on launch day, as they pretty much invariably stock major launches on release day.

For details of what their current stock is, you'd need to call them. Though if you're holding out for potentially a 2070 Super rather than a 2080 (for instance) then you'd probably need to wait for launch day for confirmation.

There's always the option of buying a system without a GPU and installing your own preferred model, if you'd like to do that to have a free hand over GPU choice :)

Stock can vary, so ask. Zotac do do a blower version, and PCS sometimes use a zotac GPU. Though equally it could be a 2-3 fan model.

You can always order a PC without the GPU and source and fit your own top choice model of GPU from elsewhere :)

NB to get the 5 year warranty I think you need to register it almost immediately on arrival; there's a pretty small window I think. For Zotac.
