Will this do for a basic home/gaming PC?

My requirements aren't huge. I want to run basic Office apps, and have decent performance on games like World of Warcraft, Baldur's Gate 3, or Hogwarts Legacy. I also run RPG apps like Fantasy Grounds and Foundry, which is why I've specified two monitors. I use Dungeon Alchemist to create maps. That's pretty much it.

Will this do? Is there anything I should tweak?

(Also, it didn't specify whether the AOC Q27G2E had an adjustable stand - does it?)

Many thanks and happy holidays!!
Dianne

Do you have a max budget? A couple of these parts are two generations+ old so this would essentially be a PC with no future upgrade path. Honestly spending something closer to 2k would get you a much longer lasting build with latest parts.

Thanks, SpyderTracks.

When you say "9000 series processor", does that mean a Ryzen 9? If so, then it looks like that will be outside of my budget. The £2K unfortunately includes the monitors.

So we can build something suitable, all we need to know is budget and use case.

9000 series is the series itself, Ryzen 9 is a model within the series.

Is there any reason you chose 2 gaming monitors? Only one would benefit from high refresh, there's no such thing as dual monitors for gaming, as the center point would be completely disrupted by the bezels and gap in between the screens.

If you wanted better horizontal display real estate, an ultrawide would make more sense.

I also run RPG apps like Fantasy Grounds and Foundry, which is why I've specified two monitors
It's not very clear what you mean by this, what's the requirement for the second screen?

Thanks for the explanation of "9000 series".

I need two monitors for running RPGs: one monitor runs Fantasy Grounds and the other has all my supporting content, such as Discord, sound app, browser, Notion, etc.

I chose 2 gaming monitors only so that both would be the same. But they don't necessarily have to be identical, I guess.
