Will this M.2 SSD fit/work in my 17.3" OCTANE IV?

Yes, should work fine :)

Hi spyder, just one last question, please.

How many m.2 sod's is the Octane IV supposed to take?

It shows the option for 2 in the upgrade options on pc specialist, but when installing it today I only saw one m.2 slot when I opened it up. Unless it's behind/hidden by my installed SSD or HDD?

If you contact PCS they should be able to get you a manual.

Actually, what’s the clevo model number? It should be on a label on the underside of the laptop.

Also, if you know, are there any m.2 heatsinks that will fit into the chassis? All the ones I've seen seem pretty thick. I'm assuming I'll need one anyway.

Do discuss this with PCS first. I know that there are laptops in the PCS range that have two M.2 slots but will only allow one of them to be an SSD.

17.3 Octane definitely takes 2 as indicated above by @Nursemorph.

There may be a limitation in the speed though as I don't know if you will get the full NVME speed from both slots. I think one may default down to x2 depending what else is using the lanes. My 2nd M2 drive in my laptop is just a SATA type.
