2x16GB Kingston HyperX Impact DDR4-3200MHz CL20 KIT (HX432S20IBK2/32) no problem compatible.
2x32GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3200MHz CL16 KIT (BL2K32G32C16S4B) it's compatible X170SM-G laptop?

Somebody rehearsed it already? is going 3200MHz / CL16 without a trouble?
I would exchange present Kingston KI for this Crucial KI but I did not read much good one from him in compatibility already at laptops, although it is not upper category "DTR" like this there was a laptop into which it tried to be used.

Support the order did not solve it visibility troubles at me, somebody knows something about this, somebody else experienced this?

Support is arranged it my request the 3 years of platinum guarantee change, I should pay, but i don't see it into the drawer. I spoke it with them Live Chat on a surface, but it was not able to be solved, it was said they see my account, there it's okay, but i don't see anything.

I wrote it to them mail message and I expect it for him the answer, it was said the contact is established the management and it will be solved, a mistake may be a system.

Looks like the XMP-3200 profile requires 1.35V instead of 1.2V, would need to check if the motherboard supports this voltage otherwise it will likely run at 2666 MHz max.

Perfect comment, that's exactly what I've noted as well and was going to mention here. It is very likely not going to work as I've never seen a laptop that supported 1.35V, but if they're selling it then it might mean that at least a few would (let me know if you can find one).

I also saw the reviews on Crucial's website and all of those were complaining about only getting 2600Mhz and the voltage difference is indeed the reason.

The Kingston HyperX Impact DDR4-3200MHz CL20 is one of the best RAMs that you can get for a laptop and not have compatibility issues, I would have bought them myself if they were available when I bought my laptop.

If you're so interested in lowering the CL of your RAM, then you need to start learning how to overclock it. CL18 is definitely achievable with that Kingston RAM and I'm assuming that CL16 might be as well if you're lucky and persistent .

EDIT: I'm now seeing that you have an intel i9, which if I'm not wrong will make your RAM run only up to 2966Mhz? So I'm not even sure if it's worth buying the best RAM that you can get, since it will be underutilized anyway? I'm not an Intel specialist anyway, so it's worth double checking.

Nobody on here can help you with this information and frankly I'm not surprised PCS won't either. Could you explain why you want to know these dimensions? PCS would say that in all their laptops these dimensions are "sufficient". Puzzled.

He might want to replace them, as when you're buying, there are many different thicknesses available. I agree that this would be very hard information to find, but I also would love to know mine just in case

@Maxx , while the thermal paste needs to be changed every time you remove the heatsinks, if the thermal pads look fine enough you don't need to replace them. That's what happened to me recently, they looked ok and I just changed the paste (actual photo from my heatsink):

It looks like you're a bit short on pads for the below part, as it's supposed to cover 4 chips (VRMs, I believe), but it's only covering 2 and a half:

For who so is, it can measure it the accurate bench thickness? (Thermal Pad)

Yes you can mix more modern Ram Memory but there may be a bit of a tweaking to get it working
