hi all. apologies for posting this here. i need some help advice, and wasnt sure where to post.... so has anyone else been having problems with youtube on pc or laptop? my default browser (opera) id been using an adblocker for years, but now youtube was telling me to turn it off. so i did. videos still wouldnt play. i refreshed the page, shut opera down, then on again. same problem. i then tried microsoft edge, tor and brave browser (no adblocker). still having problems. ive tried other video platforms, like bitchute, daily motion and rumble, and they play fine. its only been like this, the last few days.
anyone got any ideas

It's their new policy, if you clicked through the warning 3 times to watch the video, it will then block playback entirely, doesn't matter if you remove Adblocks or not.

I'm not sure how long that applies though or if it's per account or device.

If you upgrade to premium it will reenable streams. Either that or you have to wait for the block to be lifted

It's their new policy, if you clicked through the warning 3 times to watch the video, it will then block playback entirely, doesn't matter if you remove Adblocks or not.

I'm not sure how long that applies though or if it's per account or device.

i thought it may be something like that. to get you to pay for premium. but i didnt ignore anything on the other browsers, yet i still had problems. they blocked my IP address?

I don’t know what the block applies to, weather it’s device ID or account.

But yes, there’s nothing you can do until the block is lifted on youtubes end
