Guess they're plentiful for 3090s due to the price.

I thought they were a gold mine even for the 3090s. For 300 or 400 pounds more I actually don't know if I should go for it.

It's about £970 more to go from 3080 Rog Strix to 3090 Rog Strix.

Not worth it, in my opinion, for a 16 percent improvement.

Well from a 3090 to 3090 strix is 397 if I recall it correctly. My budget is way over now))

Yeah, you need to be careful, I almost went AMD but I discovered that Autodesk Maya didn't currently support AMDs new cards. And that Maya is the main application I am using on my computer

So fingers crossed, maybe another month?

Now 42 working days in pre-production (5900x / 6800XT).

94 days still pre Production, Called PCS I'm still waiting on the 3080 Strix however in the top 5 and also my case.

85 days 3090/5950x. Upgraded from 3080/5900x as they said it would be faster but doesnt look like it is going to be, may end up downgrading back to 3080/5900x as people on that thread getting their builds between 90-100 approx

It's the 5950 holding you up. You'd have been done a while ago if you'd stuck to 5900.

I suspect looking at people recently receiving their orders that you are correct - but it saddens me that people on forums give better advice than PCS themself who specifically told me that the 5950 was in stock and less in demand than the 5900, hence the change

I was told few days ago that they gonna get some 5950x around end of march but we shall see if that is the case

I would take a pinch of salt with that as they told me when I changed they were due some at end of Feb and another batch at start of March. I don't think they really know.
