OR this is the AMD version.. with Ryzen 9. Bit overkill, but it's the only CPU they do. Looking at benchmarks too on the forum this laptop seems to have better cooling than the one above.

Hi all,
I'm looking at laptops as I just don't have space anymore for my PC (in the process of selling my 2 year old PCSpecialist PC) so I basically just need a laptop that will run MS flight sim decently.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Hi all, so this morning I was working at my PC and I heard a loud bang and the wiring circuit went down. Originally I thought it was one of the wall sockets, but after removing the plugs and testing, I realised it was my PC! as when I turned it back on, it made the same loud bang again.
My PC...
Yeah either one, I have a palit 2070s and it's brilliant.. can't fault it. PCS do sell other brands i.e. Asus but you have to pay more and are generally right at the bottom of the gpu list when you scroll.
Damn.. think I may just get away with a 650 PSU. I've calculated it uses 259w without a gpu so that + 3080 will come just under (I don't OC anything) Although I'm not sure what it's meant about this 2x8 pin stuff? I currently have a 8pin and 6 pin for 2070s
Yeah...the heatsink itself is nice and slim, but the fan they have on the side is quite 120mm (or slightly bigger) I believe and it cuts into the height of the ram slot ever so slightly.. Even if there was clearance, it would still mean removing the cooler.
Specs are below. Initially that was my thought, however as I have the noctua cooler, it blocks the ram slot closest to it so it wouldn't fit 4 unfortunately.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Six Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.2GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)

Hey all, I currently have 16gb RAM, specifically Corsair ddr4 3200 (the one they sell here) and I’m looking to upgrade to 32gb due to ms flight sim.
ive looked on Amazon but there’s 2 different types of the exact same RAM but one says optimised?
also will this be straight swap in and out as I...
Hi guys, I have a pair of logitech speakers connected to the PC which work fine, however when I turn on my BT headphones and connect to the PC the sound on the bottom right hand corner will keep flickering between the monitor sound (the monitor doesn't have speakers) and the PC's default sound...
I went ahead and purchased the slightly cheaper variation of the TP powerlinks, which only have the wired connection and no wireless and I didn't feel like I would have benefited from that.
So, my router is upstairs tucked away in a cupboard and my PC is downstairs. Now, on a good day (using...
I have to agree, £450-£500 seems a bit low, especially considering the tech that's gone into them. I wouldn't be surprised if they are close to £700, or the other aspect is having a £500 ish price tag and making the games a lot more expensive, as if £50 wasn't enough.
Your PC should be able to handle playing and streaming. I have tried it and it was okay for me, same with playing and recording :) Obvs depends on how much CPU usage next gen games will take.. but I highly doubt it'll be much more than what we're currently seeing on AAA titles.
