*Update* got through today on the phone after a 2 hour wait, but the guy was not able to really give me much information at all.
None of the Ryzen (5600/5800/5900/5950 X) are in stock and he had no ETA on any of them. I asked if it would be better for me to switch from the 5900 X to any of the...
Oh no, I have the 1TB 980 m.2 in my build also! I didn't get notified or anything that it was out of stock either.
I'll try to get through to them tomorrow then, and see what's in stock.
It's like a game of whack-a-mole trying to keep your build with components that are currently in stock, in...
That's a pretty fast turnaround. Lucky you.
I've said it before but those ordering both one of the new GPUs (especially 3080 & 6800 XT) and new Rizen CPU's are at a big disadvantage in the way the queing system works in PCS, because both need to be in stock at the same time for your build to...
That looks sexy!
I noticed you got the original box for the graphics card. Does anyone know if PCS include this for all desktop builds? It would be handy for potentially reselling it if upgrading just the graphics card down the line.
Same. Maybe it's the pessimist in me but I have an awful feeling that when they get the 5900X back in stock the 6800 XT will no longer be in stock and all the 5900 X's will go to builds that are ready!
I suppose so, although I was told they only assign a component to a build when all other components in that build are also in stock.
If that is the case then both the 5600X and RX 6800 XT would have been in stock at the same time recently, even though they had no clue when either would be in...
Whaaaaaaaat?
I'm surprised given the conversations I had with PCS lately trying to get status updates on stock arrivals.
For reference I ordered my PC (without graphics card) on 5th november with the 5900 X, then amended with the RX 6800 XT on launch day, also at 13:59 (apparently I'm...
Don't get your hopes up. I think I might give up trying to get information from the live chat until the new year.
This conversation was from just now. Bizarly I asked him about the 6800 and he had nothing to say...

I was just thinking about the way the queing system works again - when PCS eventually do get 6800 XT's in stock they will go to the first people in the queue who also have all other components of their build in stock.
Since I have also ordered a 5900 X (on launch day), what are the chances both...
Congrats! I guess the 6800 has more stock, and definately less demand.
I don't think PCS has received any 6800 XT at all so far, unfortunately for the rest of us.
Update not good (see below). I'm pretty frustrated at this point, as is everyone else I'm sure.

Your order is in a pre production stage. There are some products that are out of stock. The GPU ( AMD RADEON™ RX 6800 XT - HDMI, DP - DX® 12) and the...
I checked with them this week and a 5900 X is assigned to my build (ordered on the 5th Nov). :)
They said the only thing holding up my order is the 6800 XT.
Honestly I would be more willing to hold on for if they could give me any sort of estimate on when they would get stock in.
They haven't...
I'm thinking of switching to the 3060 Ti at this point as this seems to be in stock at the moment.
I can always upgrade in a few months when the stock issues are fixed, and sell the 3060 Ti.
I'm still rocking 1080p 60Hz monitors as I was planning on getting the Samsung G9 with the new build, but...
I have bad news for anyone trying to get the 6800 XT after asking about it on the live chat with a support rep.
PCS didn't receive ANY of these cards at all, and have no idea when they will receive any, but it won't be before Christmas most likely.
After doing a bit of research it seems like...
What time did you order the 6800 XT? I ordered around 1:59PM launch day.
From talking to them on the live chat it doesn't seem like they received ANY! and they have no idea when they'll get them in stock. What a disaster!
Everything else in my order is in stock so I'm not sure whether I should...
