yeah i should go with prime straight away 87W ;O
, actually 'passed' a test on -200mv core and -110mv cache for 30 minits still running will try to find a sweet spot today, i know 100% i was stable on -100 on both but I got highest results on more aggresive undervolt, thanks again
hi mate thx for reply, just ran prime95 again no bssod but this message came up
I have uploaded minidumps from yesterday maybe you will have a clue, my guess is drivers but I not sure after this messgae pops up
yep, i had ran it on stock but bsod after 20-30 seconds hmm... will see tomorrow again and i try post dump file what has been causing issue, but as i said i never had any problems only after longer anno gaming but that is cpu demanding but still, it didnt meant i was stable. will try to get...
i had run prime95 but getting bsods even on stock with different errors hmm strange, im on actually -250mv on core and -110mv on cache, i have been stressed with aida64 couple of times but cannot get thru prime95 will post dump files tomorrow maybe some of you will have a clue, dont know if it...
I have got few BSODs I must admit but only while playing anno 1800, WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR , dont know if this is because of undervolt but never happen in another game, maybe @SpyderTracks will have a clue? actually happened 3 times in last week but never in another games tho.
hi mate, i was on the same boat with my first unit, i requested replacement and PCS admited those temps (check my posts on 1st page) were high, main reason was back bleed though, I was throttling on 3 cores even after light gaming, they sent me replacement, sometimes even after 5-6 hours max...
you can buy windows from office uk for 20£ but i dont know how "legit" it can be, seems genuine but i rather wont post any link, although i would still recommend win when u building system. you get benefit with freesync on nvidia gpu as well, I didnt know that as well until @SpyderTracks advised...
few last quick tests done, -0.250mv on core and -110mv on cache undervolt, seems to be stable so I leave it as it is. max temps 83c
maximum score I could get on cinebench with this undervolt, pretty happy with it. Very happy while gaming have zero stutters or lags, no thermall throttles at all...
maybe you looked at pay later plan? yes you can repay your loan in year without 0% but this is rather with a financial company that pcs uses, but im sure you can pay more every time you want to
its pointless for 12 core cpu to use it for gaming. If you want water cooling & overclock go for 9900K if there is option, otherwise it will perfom worse in games than 8 core cpu
it will work but you see this type of cpu i9-10900X isnt a gaming cpu. I would call them tomorrow and cancel whole thing. If you want intel & gaming it would be 9900K thats more than enough. But this is more like a workstation you have ordered
laptop arrived back on saturday with upgraded warranty to gold and 1TB samsung evo 970+ nvme, done some firestrike time spy and cinebench again
-130mv on core, -125mv on cache.
Hi,
I think it will make a bit difference in fps and speeds, the faster Mhz ram is the better for overall performance including gaming. How much difference it will be it depends on what system you have choose. But there will be difference
Can you amend order?
for anybody who doesn't know what plundervolt is: https://plundervolt.com/
I am honestly laughing calling this new gaming/ high end CPUs which you cannot even undervolt. It is shame that you buying a new laptop for example from a company like MSI designed for gaming and you have to spend days...
