Thanks for that chart, very useful. It is "just" a 5800h in the competitor PC. But if the TDP quoted by Macco is correct, I think gaming performance on the 3070 would also be better. Tricky. 105w 3080 max q vs 3070 130w.

Yeah it did sound a little high. I guess they were mistaken. With that TDP, I'll probably get better performance out of the 130W 3070. Pretty much what I'd heard, lol. As Macco says though, maybe not too bad in a laptop?

11th Gen? I've not heard great things about them Desktop wise. Also seems to generally run hotter than AMD these days which is best avoided in a laptop.

Yeah that's TongFang again. Last experience with one of those has left me dead set against buying another. PCS' Clevo models have always been great for me. Thanks all the same though. Think i mentioned in another post, they're competitively priced.

So now I'm a bit stuck. A PCS Clevo with Intel or go on the hunt again for a competitor that has Ryzen :x

Such a shame. Don't think we're gonna get a Ryzen model in Clevo flavour. Think this'll be the first time in a long while I've not bought a PCS laptop. Valeon seems like great value, but they're cheap for a reason :D

I wish I could trust TF again but reliability wise, in my experience, they're dog egg level. 3 total motherboard failures in about a year, meanwhile my old Clevo 555m that I gave away to a relative is still going. Along with my own 970m model that I've gone back to using for now since refunding...

Is it Clevo at least? Been looking at a few different options since returning my 2070 TongFang. Ideally want AMD. Definitely want Clevo though.
