I leave mine in Sleep. The only issue I have is once in a blue moon the corsair icue RGB software wont sync properly when I wake it up and only a restart solves it. (using the software does nothing)

If you buy your own card they won't fit it for you, however it will have its own warranty with the manufacturer. My gigabyte card for example I had to register within 30 days of purchase but its covered with them for 4 years so don't worry about that too much

An example of how crazy prices at present are is the exact same spec order I placed in December is now £157 more than I paid.
With your other system do you have windows 10. You can transfer that licence across if your not going to use it again which will save you £100+ quid
I wouldn’t save anymore on the case. That’s the lowest case I would recommend which still provides decent cooling. If you went for a cheaper case I would recommend then spending more on the CPU cooler which defeats the point :)
The psu you can lower if you want but wouldn’t drop below 750...
For 1440p 144hz gaming your not going to be able to get it much cheaper at the moment without sacrificing the upgradability of the build.
