PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

Agreed. 2000 individual cards in 7 minutes would be perfectly feasible on the likes of overclockers etc. But 2000 full builds in 7 minutes would be quite extraordinary. AlexJames said he ordered at 14:01 yet has had the same email. Very strange. I’ll speak to PCS at 09:00 and find out.

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

Yeah that would be my assumption as well to be honest. Thing is, PCS said to me that they had 2000 in stock ready for the launch of the 3080. I ordered at 14:07 and the card showed as available (Not pre-order as it does now). Very strange. Not sure 2 months is viable to wait if I’m honest

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

if you read the original post, I asked if anybody else had experienced the same thing. It’s quite obvious nobody here can answer the question as to why. I was asking if anyone had the same issue and it looks like they do.

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

Morning all. I’ve just received an update on my order I placed last week. I was emailed over the weekend saying that my order was due for build today. I’ve just received another email stating that it’s now going to be Wednesday the 25 of November. I updated my order the day after placing it...

PCSPECIALIST Sense-check of power supply requirement

Yeah that’s the main aim really. My original thinking was that my current C: drive ends up getting clogged up with stuff (poor management on my part I know) so by having a drive for my OS, the M.2 for MSFS and the a HDD for other files it would keep things tidy.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll take a look at upgrading the cooling before the order hits production

PCSPECIALIST Sense-check of power supply requirement

Thanks Sibun. I take it you’d recommend something like a Corsair H80i? Yes you are correct that the plan is/was the 256GB for the OS and the M.2 for MSFS. PCS advised against putting the OS on the SSD though so I selected to have it on the M.2. Unless you recommend I change it? I’m still able to...

PCSPECIALIST Sense-check of power supply requirement

Morning all. I ordered a new gaming rig yesterday with the aim of mainly running MSFS 2020 on Ultra settings. Nvidia recommended a minimum of a 750w power supply for the RTX 3080 although I’d read that running MSFS at high settings could potentially tip the power requirement over that. I went...
