Contacted PC Specialists yesterday afternoon. They basically asked me a few questions and said they'd get a new battery sent out straight away. It arrived today and I've swapped it over. All fixed! Well played to them for the quick service.

I've unplugged the battery and re inserted, no luck. The light which shows the battery charging is constantly flashing as well which is odd.

I don't have HW Monitor but I've run a battery report via command prompt and it says the battery design and full capacity are currently equal. I haven't tried taking the the battery out yet, I'll give that a go. Thanks.

Stop acting so entitled. Drop them an email and they'll respond to you very quickly. Or you can even give them a call for a quicker answer.

In all honesty I havent gamed without being plugged in. I think the performance decreases significantly so havent bothered!

You dont need a separate SSD for your OS. Just get the large 1TB version so that down the line you can install another when needed.

Order it without Windows 10 and install it yourself with your own license (either purchased online or transferred from previous laptop)

If I'm doing daily tasks, or even wanting to game with quieter fans normally I'll use Office mode which sits at 80 degrees (daily tasks much lower). If im playing a game that requires more power I'll use Game mode for the boost in performance. You could also try setting up a custom fan curve...

I believe it's because you're not in Office mode and probably have the turbo on. It can be configured in the Control Centre or by pushing the button near the power one.

On my work Lenovo laptop I was able to bypass the administrator rights and do it in the BIOS.

Is there nothing in the Bios which allows you to do it?

How lose was the touchpad? Mine is slightly at the bottom but considered that normal

Oh for sure, I'm glad people are posting about the issues they have encountered. Its great to see so many people help others especially if it's something the user can fix to save sending the laptop back.

Just remember you only hear the negative rather than all the people that havent posted with no issues at all.

What plastic that's meant to be there? There shouldn't be any on/around the camera

I have a Vyper 3 with a 2070 and can comfortably play in Office Mode which sits at 80 degrees and the fans are barely noticeable. You can try custom fan curves too.

Have you taken off the plastic protective cover that it comes with?
