Doubt you will see any difference to the networking, think they are both BT5 and AX aren't they, just one has the 'killer' software, wouldn't worry about that.
I think the desktop replacement machines already have the upgraded thermal paste. As for 32gb, upto you, but 16gb is the current...
Oh completely agree, was just to show how little there is between the 2070S and the 2080 (overall), general thing, not that those are the numbers to link to anything.
Remember though that the Vyper 17 is a Tongfang gm7mp0p chassis, so not the same as the 15.6 one, and thermals are liekly to be pretty different.
The reviews seem decent so far, although not many around.
Here's a look at the 2070 vs the Super

and the Super vs 2080

As you can see the Super is for all intense and...
I'll be honest, I was thinking of trying to wait for the Ryzen 4000 machines, but wanted 2070super or higher GPU, and that looks to not really be an option at the moment anywhere, and as I needed a replacement, I've gone with the Vyper 17 with 2070super, and for me that will be OK. I use it for...
The 10700K is a good looking processor, and like for like is a fair bit more powerful, however in a laptop chassis your not going to get the max out of the processor, as the cooling capabilities of the chassis won't be able to match a water cooling rig from a desktop class machine.
That said if...
Cool, well if you want AMD (desktop class) processors then have a look at the 15.6" NOVA, they can be configured with decent setups. For example a 3700X with 2070, 16Gb 2666 and 1Tb 860evo comes in around your price mark, if you already have a Windows license against your Microsoft account...
Until mine is delivered I can't comment on the Vyper (17), but from seeing the few reviews around online for the chassis, it seems to manage temps pretty well. Remember temps aren't all about the size of the chassis in depth, but more on the routing of the internal components and heat pipes/fans...
What do you want to do with it? have any mobility or weight requirements (do you need to be able to take it with you places, or a desktop replacement so never going to be moved?)
Let us know, sure we can help
