PCSPECIALIST Difference between Sonic Studio III and Realtek Audio Console

I have both on my ASUS ROG STRIX-I PC and I'm using the Realtek Audio Console, which seems to work fine with a 5.1 system. I've binned the SS3, but what is the difference please??

PCSPECIALIST W10 and W11 - Direct Storage and Motor Racing Games

Will Direct Storage improve motor racing game play?? I have a PCS gaming PC built in May 2020. The MB is the ROG STRIX X570-I GAMING with AMD Ryzen 7 3800X and 11GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2080 Ti. It currently has a 1TB SSD, specs from the order sheet "SATA 6 Gb (520MB/R, 470MB/W)". Seems that...

PCSPECIALIST Switched on TPM 2.0 - WiFi and Bluetooth No Longer Work

Thanks for advice. PCS informed and have retrospectively authorised. TPM 2.0 enabled and all works as before. Surprised that ASUS page on enabling TPM doesn't have check BIOS/update if necessary.

I've updated BIOS and will enable TPM again. And retrospectively told PCS. Oops.

PCSPECIALIST Switched on TPM 2.0 - WiFi and Bluetooth No Longer Work

Both come back and work correctly if TPM is disabled. One for ASUS I think.

PCSPECIALIST Switched on TPM 2.0 - WiFi and Bluetooth No Longer Work

I have a just over 1 year old gaming PC from PCS. I've just been in the AMI Megatrends UEFI/BIOS and switched on TPM 2.0. Now there is no wifi or bluetooth, which suprised me. Reading a few articles and no mention on this issue. And settings seem to have completely disappeared. Grateful for...

PCSPECIALIST W10 - Windows Fly Across Ultra Wide Screen at Random

I'm using W10 on a PC with a 49" Samsung Ultra Wide Screen. I view programmes in windows about A4 size, and drag them to the centre area of the screen. I'm using a bluetooth keyboard with a track pad. As I move my finger on the trackpad, the displayed windows have a random habit of flying across...

PCSPECIALIST Anyone placed an order lately?

I think the time scale on the website is misleading. I ordered 16 May and went pre-production 22 May. On Monday, I saw "order 1 June, get 17 June", and yesterday "order 2 June, get 18 June". Well, 16 May to 2 June is the same 17 days and my machine hasn't started build. So, the 12-14 days...

PCSPECIALIST ASUS® ROG Strix X570-I Gaming - Space on Rear Port I/O shield

Yes dual slot GPU with only 2 slots. Original case deemed too small by PCS, which had a USB 2.0 port, so upped to the Define Nano S which hasn't!! It never rains, it pours!

PCSPECIALIST ASUS® ROG Strix X570-I Gaming - Space on Rear Port I/O shield

There is no spare slot for a bracket. I know things should be compatible and backwards etc. But I want to minimise any issues. And the ROG has 2.0 USB 9 pin header but no 2.0 ports on the port panel, just lots of 3.X - which is strange anyway. Cutting the I/O shield is more preferable to...

PCSPECIALIST ASUS® ROG Strix X570-I Gaming - Space on Rear Port I/O shield

There is a USB 2.0 9 pin header on the motherboard and I want to use USB 2.0 ports for gaming wheel. So I can either put the ports on I/O shield panel, which would be neat or thread something like this through a suitable hole on the case - the fan mounting slots on the rear panel look...

PCSPECIALIST ASUS® ROG Strix X570-I Gaming - Space on Rear Port I/O shield

Can anyone tell me if there is space on the motherboard rear port I/O shield to fit a USB 2.0 2 socket screw panel? Like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motherboard-9Pin-Header-to-Dual-USB-2-0-Female-Data-Cable-With-Screw-Panel-Mount/232004091336? Looking at the MB manual paragraph 2.3, seems...
