PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

I ordered at 14:07 on launch day and yeah this includes a 3080. I've just had another email to say it's in testing now.

PCSPECIALIST NVidia 3000 series confirmed details

I suppose it depends on how many people went for the ROG card and what stock levels PCS are expecting in. Hopefully it should be this week at some point

PCSPECIALIST NVidia 3000 series confirmed details

The day’s still young. Did you order the standard card or ROG?

PCSPECIALIST NVidia 3000 series confirmed details

Just so you're all aware, I ordered at 14:07 on launch day and I've just received the below. I had an email on Saturday stating my build date was today which turned out to be accurate.

The estimates do seem to depend on who you speak to. One guy on another thread said he'd been told 3-5 weeks as of yesterday(ordered the same time as me) but I was told likely the end of next week as to when I can expect delivery (that was what the guy said to me yesterday)

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

I've just received this. Apparently 14:07 on launch day was too late to guarantee a card within a few weeks of the order being processed

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

I’ve just had the same thing. Looks like we’ve slipped one working day due to the confusion this morning. Far better than November though

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

Yeah no worries mate. I‘m just glad it was nothing serious like availability of the cards etc.

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

I was the first caller of the day and there was already 30 people in the queue at 09:04. Their hold queue will have reached capacity

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

No need. They’ve just removed them all from everyones orders so everyone’s build dates should continue as normal

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

They’ve just removed the hold up on all the builds for this reason so the orders will progress as normal now. Allegedly it was only applying to the 3080 builds weirdly. He said it’s because today is the day that most of them start.

I did say to just send me the logo in the post when they come back into stock. 😂😂

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

😂😂 I’m really not joking. The guy read the official reasoning out to me verbatim from the screen. He’s in shock himself to be fair. He’s just put me on hold to go and find out some more information.

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

You’ll never believe this but they’re out of PC specialist logo’s. That’s why everyone who isn’t already in build has had that email. I’m still on the phone to them as we speak. You couldn’t write it.

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

    I’ll second that.

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

Cheers Alex. I thought that may be the case. I’ll still call at 9 and see what info they can give. I’ll post PCS’s response as soon as I’ve spoken to them. Unless Spyder locks the thread by then. 😂

PCSPECIALIST Surely this is a mistake?

Does it really matter if we speculate the root cause? No one is bashing PCS or posting anything negative. Forums are mostly opinion-based platforms anyway. Having a build date pushed back 2 months, no matter the cause, will obviously generate concern.
