This was the problem, especially for Doom Eternal, now I am getting nearly 300fps

Far cry 5 I am getting 144fps sometimes up to 170fps

The monitor is a Sony Bravia TV, it's quite old and I'm not sure how to check the refresh rate, bought in 2013/2014 maybe.

I have recently got an RTX 3080 with a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU and 32GB of ram and when I play games the FPS limits at 60fps. Does anyone know a reason for this? I am currently playing at 1080p.

I called PCS and asked about swapping to 3070 because I was told that they were getting 3070 in which would cover my build but guy in sales team told me that I would be out to the back of the 3070 queue, so is best to just wait

The GPU is out of stock so has to wait for that, the pre-production stage length increases everyday, so far it has gone up to 10 day wait

I have done this and it says it will charge me money, to remove something I have already been charged for which I also don't need. This hasn't been built yet but will PCS take this into consideration and contact me about it, or will they just build it. This is my first time using PCS
