I fixed it, it is the strangest thing which did fix it but in armoury crate there is a tools section with a driver section, noticed an intel one wasn't installed and it installed the intel chipset etc, now there is none of that stuff in my device manager

There is nothing new with windows update, I guess I will just give pcs a ring

I have loaded defaults, do I install the chipset from the motherboard website or do I need to do another fresh install of windows now?

Yep I am extracting, using windows 10 though, not winrar/7zip if that would make a difference.

I have done the fresh install, ran windows update and installed the optional also, rebooted a few times with checking for updates after and it says it is up to date. This is my device manager still.

Also by any chance are these things just stuff that is disabled in bios?

Would right clicking them in device manager and clicking update do anything?

I have fresh installed now, done updates to the point it says I am up to date, only optional one is an nvidia driver and this is now my device manager. I haven't installed anything else.

Okay I will do that all now and then wait for windows to update fully before installing anything else.
