    If it means anything - I can use the power button on the top of the computer to turn it on, but I cannot use it to turn off the computer as I could previously. If I hold the button down it just flashes three times before returning to a solid light, and the system doesn't go off.

    Yep, I've gone through it inch by inch, everything is plugged in fully. There are either no beeps, or one very quiet beep, but I expect this is the GPU turning on. If the beeps are meant to be obvious, there are none. I'll send the full spec now.
