is this what you mean? also i think so. im pretty sure my boyfriend checked them and they hadnt been updated since last year so he updated them, but i have no idea how to check for sure!

i havent i dont think? it got updated but not reinstalled. just got it the other day. it was like this before we updated it though (which is why we updated it, seeing as there was one recommended by system and were hoping it would solve problems)

these are my settings. as you can see there doesnt seem to be an option to change colour but it clearly can during start up and was advertised to be customisable. not sure if you know anything to help? thanks sm either way its under keyboard backlight settings, so really it should be there...
