I'm having trouble with the 'W' key on my laptop 'sticking'. It isn't physically sticking down, however after I release the key and it 'pops' back up, wwwwwwww continues to happen, or in game I will continue sprinting. It does feel warm to touch, but i think this is a combination of the hardware located under it, and the fact the finger is constantly pressing it. The laptop is adequately cool and my temp checker always reads a comfortable temp.
I've tried to blow it out, update drivers etc but its still having the problem. I think that my only option is a new keyboard, which i'm prepared to pay for but am struggling to source a genuine one, as the laptop is 5 years old now. I have seen on a few forums that the Clevo P670 has the same keyboard as the Clevo P650 and I have managed to locate a genuine brand new UK one of these. Before I purchase i'm just hoping that someone can confirm this for me.
I've made a few upgrades to the laptop and it wasn't cheap to begin with, other than the keyboard it is perfect condition and very well looked after so i'm not prepared to right it off over this.
P650 Keyboard P/N: 6-80-P6500-190-1
I can't find a P/N for the P670.
Thanks,
Amber
