I have no idea where I’ll go for my daily dose of therapy once you all have your builds.
Don't worry. I'm on 19 working days & still in pre-production

How long has yours been in testing buddyMeanwhile I’m still in Testing[emoji3064] can only hope for Friday delivery now

I can’t tell whether you’re being serious in half of your comments.eugh man that's horrible - I really think you should be owed some compensation when it said 12-14 Working days when you ordered. Or at the very least an email explanation of the issue...
A business should still uphold some customer satisfaction? It can't be that difficult to send a blanket email to all customers once it hits the 14 working day mark saying 'Apologies but due to COVID we are running behind schedule, we are working with full effort to get your product as soon as it is possible'. Everyone I've spoken to in real life thinks I'm an absolute mug for waiting so long for a PC delivery... I'm not one to moan but I've told about 10 people in real life I've bought a PC and it's taken 4 weeks to be built and they've all said 'Mate at the minimum I'd expect a £100 discount for that delay' - money isn't an issue to me so I would never ask for that, but a quick apology email would have been appreciated
I just feel like you could get a custom luxury item for that price (I have no idea if Rolex's are way more than that but who knows) - I would like to believe that they would notify me the moment it was delayed... Maybe £2k outlays are normal for people here, but I expect good customer service when spending that much money
Know the feeling, I've got my 'chuck it in the bag just in case' laptop at the moment being used as my Omen went pop. Takes 6 times as long to do anything on that than it did on my previous, and gord help me if I need to see if things render correctly, transfer it to my server and test or over to the test servers at the office. Takes forever, but hey, live with it till I get new one built 😁I thought I wa
Come on, be serious! We all just have to wait, Im good waiting as Im sure im getting a great machine being built by professionals!
I also received an email last week regarding lead times, did you? Aside from a global problem with parts etc, I want everyone involved in the production of my PC to be safe and well!! I'll wait longer if it means people are safe from covid-19! We also know people ordering pc's has gone throw the roof, we should have ordered in April!! haha
I need this pc for work, but what can I do? It'll come and work will still be there. Until then im working from a £500 laptop!
It just sounds like you don’t quite understand what you’re buying.I just feel like you could get a custom luxury item for that price (I have no idea if Rolex's are way more than that but who knows) - I would like to believe that they would notify me the moment it was delayed... Alright where'd those 3 pages of posts go?! [emoji1787]
Srsly though, what's your before and after process for receiving a new PC?
Get stuff ready to transfer from your old PC, clean the desk and make arrangements to fit etc?
Also, does PCS install any software at all? Im worried about misidentifying bloatware
Are you ditching a previous PC or copying stuff across? If you're ditching, then you can just make sure your data is ready on a hard drive and install that to your new PC rather than messing around copying stuff back and forth. If you're copying it across then just make sure it's all ready to transfer.Srsly though, what's your before and after process for receiving a new PC?

PCS will only install relevant drivers so windows is configured and any software you selected in the configurator, but other than that it's completely clean, that's one of the huge benefits of PCS. You may have left stuff like the bullguard 30 day trial in in which case I'd uninstall that as it can cause issues, but other than that you should be ready to go.Also, does PCS install any software at all? If it were me, I'd do some stress tests on the CPU, GPU, RAM and SSD to make sure they're all performing as expected, and run some benchmarks to be sure I'm getting the scored I'd expect.
Took me a while to find but there's a good thread on it here:What do you recommend for this stuff? Never honestly done it, I just fluke it
