I’m only at 8 working days… see you all in 100 WORKING days hopefully… I was expecting at least a 2-3 month wait. Hope you all receive your pcs soon

I was told by pc specialist recently that there are around 150 orders for the strix 3080(I’m around 150 according to them even though I’m at 8 working days) doesn’t sound right considering some are still waiting from Nov/December etc.

We love you Ukraine
I upgraded in the end to the strix 3080. I knew I was going to have to wait regardless of what I brought. If you’re going to wait.. you may as well go all out
Couldn't agree more, excess is a wonderful thing! Make sure you've got the budget for a suitable monitor though which would be entry level at ÂŁ800

I got myself the Samsung G75 monitor. 240HZ and 1440p. 27”. Monitor so far looks great, I can’t wait to actually try it out in 3-6 months lol. For £530 I think that’s a fairly decent price for what you’re getting in terms of hz/resolution.

I’ve heard everyone is getting the 3090 sooner(due to the obvious fact that most people aren’t willing to sacrifice the extra £674-£1000) excess is great but I would rather wait the additional 6 months than pay out for a card that i’m not going to fully utilise with 1440p. Can’t fault those who upgrade though, makes it a little easier for us.

Interesting, as it was only a little over a week ago they stated that they had 220 orders with 20 units just arriving, therefore in the space of 8 working days they’ve had an extra 50 units!
Has anyone recently been going into production? As if this is true it’s good news!
Just hitting 101 today, I’m starting to feel old here, but this might mean I get my pc before July fingers crossed

I hope so. This is what I was told last week(around Tuesday) as I was originally going to go with the normal 3080. They told me for the normal 3080 there are around 1000 back orders compared to 150 for the strix 3080. Sounds good. Also goes along with the fact that most people are getting the email regarding 3080s being hard to find and then downgrading to the 3070/upgrading to the 3090 for faster dispatch.

I don’t think it is necessarily to do with 50 extra units coming in. I have seen a lot of people in these forums upgrading to the 3090 as, sure it is an additional £600-£800 but you’re waiting 2-4 weeks compared to 5-6 months. On top of that, I’ve seen people cancelling their orders because apparently other companies are getting more stock and the emails I’m sure are persuading plenty of people to downgrade to the 3070 or even just jump over to the normal 3080 instead. Either way, from what I’ve been told. We can say that the queue for the strix 3080 is around 150 from last week. Unfortunately that doesn’t necessarily mean much if stock isn’t coming in. What do you all think the average amount of strix 3080s are coming in per week/month?

Also to add I’ve spoken to two people from pc specialist. The second guy I asked and said “I was told there are around 150 back orders for the strix 3080. Is that right” he replied “sounds about right to me” so as much as the strix is a popular card. The majority of people are definitely upgrading/downgrading or staying with the normal 3080, saving that £76 and spending it on their cpu/ram or whatever they decide to do. Wouldn’t be surprised if we start slowly seeing it go from 120 WD, to 100WD and then slowly down to 80 etc within the next month or two. Hopefully you’ll have your pc before then. :)
