Very odd indeed... I mean very odd...
Have you ever left it in a hot car or something? I have no idea if that could ever cause it, but it seems that the whole plastic structure has somehow changed. AS we have the comparison video to look at from Corfate, your looks like a different laptop.
I can understand PCS refusing the dead pixel, it says something about that in the terms and conditions and you have the option to buy insurance against dead pixels. But the whole flexing this is just odd. Has it always been like this? If it is something that recently happened then I would honestly put it down to some sort of environmental factor.
Have a think back and see if it could have been left in any hot conditions, that would be my gut instinct. Otherwise I think the board would be full of reviews titled "my new PCS laptop is like a bag of melted chocolate"
Tbh mate, mines been left in my car overnight in -3/5 and then recently left in the car when it's been 25c etc, and still soldiered on.
His laptop looks like you said, made of chocolate! Maybe you just got dud plastic?
Yeah just throwing that out as an idea. Seems very very odd indeed, I have had the pleasure of working on some really properly cheap laptops and never once have I seen anything like this.

Are you really that stupid? or are you just trying to be?
I study mechanical engineering and I have studied materials for the past two years. It would have had to be put in the oven with my pizza for what your saying to be correct.
As for corfate's laptop that is for him to decide on how he thinks his is holding up. IMO, just looking at his video I wouldn't be happy with his laptop. I dont think it looks to far off from mine. I can still see his flexing and bending. That is why I am not asking for the same laptop back as IMO it's not an isolated issue. I'm not blaming the build quality on pc specialist. They only put the internals in buying the case off clevo.
One strange thing I do notice is the huge amount of wear on my track pad and case whilst cor fate's still remains pretty much new looking.
Should they be selling it with known issues??? well that's not to do with us as long as they are prepared to help out customers who are not prepared to keep it, which they are as I'm currently sorting out for it to be collected by themselves and taken back and sorted out which is what they have organised today, so credit due there.
