DPD's great delivery service.....

I woke up today in surprise that my delivery, which was meant to come in on the 24th arrived early. Initially was exicited and rushed downstairs to bring my package indoors. I open it up and at first glance everything was fine and it was well packaged. I proceed to lift the pc case up and hear crackling sounds. I thought maybe it was the polystrene foam but as I placed the pc upright the entire glass panel on the right hand side was shattered, the air filter detached and glass fragments everywhere inside the packaging.

I was so frustrated but knew that its not PCS fault but the dpd delivery man as they seemed in a rush to leave and placed the PC box at an awkward angle by my doorstep. I called up PCS immeditately and now they created an RMA to replace the entire case.

Just gutted to finally have this beast delivered to now have it taken away and wait until who knows when.

They must Chuck these around like baggage handlers. I’m getting more and more worried about how mine will be delivered.

Yeah they seem to not give any care or consideration to what they are delivering to people

You have the same case I’ve ordered as well. Is that the extra 3 fans you ordered? I have been considering adding them and wondered if they would put them there as it’s where I would want them to go.

Yeah I selected the 3x LL120 fans and tbh they put it in a nice spot

I think you have now helped my decision to add them to my build!

I once had a plasma tv delivered and when the guys brought it in they were like oh there is a hole in the box just there let’s check it before we go. Sure enough the screen was smashed. I’m sure they dropped it outside before they came to the house!

Be there for when its deliverd on pallet if its by a company called pallet ways they are good but there delivery lads have a habit of lifting the pallet of the back of the van/lorry by hand and not the pump truck the pallet is made of cardboard so it is light but a pc strapped to a pallet is very awkward to pick up in most cases a company like pcs will demand that it is unloaded by a pallet truck (stability and insure safety of pallet ) if he goes to pick it up by hand your fully within your right to inform him its a pc with fragile components and to bring it by pump truck !!!!

Hi bud, they took the PC back and its been repaired. I am just waiting on them to dispatch it to me, hopefully I get it soon. Just felt so gutted to recieve it and then just send it back. Also the damage was far worth than just the case.... The technician noted that the PSU was also badly damaged too. Like how badly was it even dropped?
