Enigma III Laptop - Random button and cant find driver

cryis 2, just cause 2, battlefield bad company 2, guild wars, battlefield 2 and on steam got CSS, Team fortress 2, fallout new vegas and the half lifes

measured New Vegas on 1366x768 on medium settings and was getting 84c max - let it run for about 20min

yeh its no problem. Are you getting any crashes or blue screens on yours? Im getting at least 2 a day :S....Disabled the usb 3.0 feature to see if that helps :/

Only the crash when i had something int he 3.0 slot. i think its buggered.

well ive disabled the 3.0 so will give it a while see what happens....what sort of crash? blue screen or the freeze and buzz? :S

well going to disable the bluetooth thing and uninstall the drivers and hope for no more blue screens until a driver is found!

i would also reccomend not using the 3.0 socket bud.

What is actually wrong with the 3.0 USB? If it is software, then I guess you'll have to wait for a better driver, but if it's hardware, surely it is faulty no?

Im not sure. It just generally seems to be when anything is plugged in to the USB 3.0 socket. Could be down to the drivers, but im back at work again and didnt bring the disk with me to test >.<

*touch wood* all going good since disabled usb 3.0 functionality in that host controller utility but obviously cant use 3.0

Just an update, it just happened to me again. And this time i had nothing in the 3.0 socket. Dont have anything disabled as im not sure how to do that....

But yeah, its got me a bit worried that its the GPU thats failing.

I think you'll have to call them up, its pretty serious. Hopefully mine is not like this :S
