Fans not wired correctly?

let us know how it goes
Success! I removed the lighting node and usb leads totally. Re routed everything to the commander core. I can now see and control speed and RGB of all the fans on one screen :)
Got to say. After working in electronics and panel wiring for the last 30 years, I found some of the cable management totally bizarre. You can certainly tell it was built at speed leading up to Christmas. 😂

Quick pic.
The ram is still freezing RGB wise. I'll get to the bottom of it eventually. I suspect a clash with my graphics card RGB software.

Out of interest, how did you route the new fan cables to the commander? I’d be interested what path you took.

I was very constrained on time with an autistic kid constantly saying is it done yet lol.
I didn't change a lot tbh. If you look at the pic on page 1 of this thread, the cables in positions 1,2 and 3 on the commander were moved to 4,5 and 6. Then the I took the path across from where the node was removed to add fans 1,2 and 3. The pwm cables from 1,2 and 3 were brought up from the bottom.
If I'd had more time I'd of tidied it up.
It was quite disappointing that they hadn't used any of the wiring channels.

Disable the armoury crate plugin in iCUE settings and your RAM should come back
Still had the issue with rgb ram freezing. Installing CORSAIR RGB Memory Plugin for ASUS AURA SYNC seems to have sorted it now. You have to install everything in a specific order to make it work. Details on the link below.
