The PCS 1TB m.2 drive will be cheaper and still much faster than a SATA ssd. If I remember correctly there is only about £3 between the PCS SATA and m.2 drives, so it should be cheaper than a Samsung SSD.

@sibun1 When you do the same configuration on the french website, the price goes up (the 1600 budget was set with VAT, so 1350 without it, something like that). The person that pay give me a "special ok" specialy for the 32GB Ram and the fast track.
(it's 1688 with the pcs ssd and 1709 with the corsair one)

Yes. Make sure you pay through the french website though to get the warranty and to pay the french VAT otherwise customs may add on a fee as well to collect the French VAT.

When i did the modification, i did them on the english website to post here AND on the french website to have the price set right :D (and the quotation :D)
Because double the trouble, double the fun :D

Well, i just now have to wait that the soon to be happy new laptop owner rise up to have the final agreement, and i puch the red buton :D
(Don't worry, i "knew" it ^^)
I'm not the one who pay, i'm the shadow techy (well, more techy than the futur owner :D) friend that send the quotation to the person who'll pay :D

Yeah, I would have been fine with it years ago, but as you get a bit older, you start to appreciate routine a bit more. I found switching from nights to days quite challenging the more I did it and my mental health started to suffer as well. Horses for courses I guess.

There is some "problems" with the vat when you switch from the UK site to the french one (and there is some problem too with the "gold" warranty)

(and in fact, the price is without vat, with, it's 1764)

I just want to say that, after a touristic tour in England with FedEx, the laptop arrived just now at my friend house.
I'll setting it up this week.

Nop, not extra charges as i bought mine on the French website for a french delivery, so, the taxes were already included ;)
