£3650 is my quote I'd like to make it cheaper rather than more expensive but that's my limit thanks
Plenty of ways that you could make it cheaper but they will of course reduced the performance of the build. Id say for quick wins adjust your storage - do you really need a 2tb m.2? And remove the WIFI card if you dont NEED wifi connectivity to the rig. Could also drop the warranty down, if you really want to save a little more there.

Without more info on what games youre playing, stats youre trying to hit (4k, fps etc) its hard to make suggestions.

Hope this helps though!

Here you go, cheaper and easier to live with. I think the G7 is 1440p 240Hz so you could make it cheaper by going for a 3070. You won’t hit 240Hz... but you don’t need to anyway 🙂👍

I play games like warzone, total war, cyberpunk, strat games, fps games mainly I thought the 2tb m.2 would be ideal for the games as quite a few are big games I'm happy with 2k as that's all my monitor outputs with 240hz 1ms refresh but would be upgrading to 4k in the future I want as much fps as I can get I'm not bothered about making it cheaper but don't wanna go anymore expensive thanks

Take a look at AgentCooper's reponse above mine, basically everything in a nutshell and saving yourself a few bob :D. Will hit everything you want to do from what youve said there.

But do you really need the extra hassle that comes with liquid? It gains you no extra performance. You’ll have to drain and refill it once a year or so to keep it fresh which isn’t the easiest of tasks. PCS will do it for you but it’ll cost you about £150 each time for the privilege and you’ll be without your system for a week or two whilst they do it.

Just seems a bit much effort and money for no actual benefit.

Completely agree. Go for an AIO cooler. Much less hassle, essentially everything you could need.

I am with AC on this. Liquid cooled builds look better, but with that comes additional cost and maintenance. You are trying to save money; quite simply the best way to do that is to not go for a liquid cooled build.

There wouldn't be a whole lot I would recommend downgrading from the liquid build either. You could probably downgrade to the 5800x and still game and stream without issue, but looking at how much more value, savings and convenience you can get with an AIO over a custom loop, I would personally recommend dropping the liquid cooled aspect of the build.

I've literally just canceled my order a few days ago due to wanting a liquid build I could of just swapped to a amd build and not lost my position for the 3080, I'm pretty sure it can't be rocket science to drain and refill ? I want it for how it looks aswell as performs and I really like the look of the liquid series and a lot shorter queue than a standard build

I'm not trying to make it cheaper just don't want to make it more expensive I'm pretty set on the liquid build as cancelled my order and don't want to go to the back of the 1500 people for the 3080

Well... if you’re really set on it I’d recommend changing your motherboard to the ROG Strix X570 and swapping in the AX200 WiFi card. That’ll take your price up, you could consider dropping the warranty to silver and maybe changing the 2TB 970 to the 1TB PCS.

I have to admit, I haven't been a fan of liquid builds due to the fishtank bowl reservoirs in them....However, I will admit that the Lian Li is a stunning looking system...someone did a review post recently and it looked amazing.

On your spec, you may want to upgrade that Wi-Fi card if you are using one as it's fairly dismal (you want the AX200)...or remove completely if you only use a wired connection to save yourself £8
Yeah I've seen a few builds and fell in love with it definitely something to catch the eye and didn't realise I even had that in and don't need it as I only do wired thanks.

Thanks for all of your input just a little tweak get rid of the WiFi and I'll get it ordered 👍 I'll be sure to post my beauty when it eventually arrives lol
If you want the 5900x you NEED the strix motherboard as a minimum for stability. The VRMs aren't suitable on lesser boards.

I've changed to that I belive I'm the actual worst as slightly regretting cancelling my old order just to get a liquid series but I'm sure I'll be super happy when I get it
