Hi,

Just after some help. I've set up my new pc, went to check iCue and it says no device detected upon opening it.
I have a corsair h115 rgb platinum cooler. If anyone can help, I'm not too windows savvy yet

It was already installed, the website said to check if it needed updating as this might fix it. I updated but it made no difference which is when I made this post

Have you restarted after updating it?

The iCue suite actually uses a driver to communicate with the USB controller on the devices. This does sometimes crash and need restarting. It's an awful lot better than it used to be, believe me, it was very problematic even a year and a half ago, they've made great improvements to it.

What we need to make sure of is that the USB is connected fully on the actual cooler as that's what communicates with iCue.

I've just restarted (stunned at how fast did that!) still says the same thing
Ok,

You wait until it's ready to rock and roll for your DAWS and stuff ;) I can't wait, you're gonna be blown away.

Can you open up the side panel, find the corsair heatsink that's on the CPU, there should be a cable running off it that goes into a USB header on the motherboard, we just want to make sure that's all connected ok.

It should run off the main cooler heatsink as a micro usb like this:

And then runs off onto one of the motherboard USB ports like this:

It's highly likely to be the above USB cable. It could come out quite easily during transit I imagine. I would check the pump header first :)

A bit awkward to see but it looks to be connected up OK..

I follow the usb cable? It goes up behind the fans where I can't see

It'll go behind.... and then come back out somewhere else and plug into a USB header. If you take the other side panel off you will see behind the motherboard area to see where the cable feeds to.

So the second picture I posted is actually the H115i USB cable, that's how it actually looks, and it will go into a port that looks the same, so you should be able to tell from that?

I've got it.. it goes over that bit i showed, all the way down to the bottom and when i pulled the cable slightly it's right in the bottom not connected to anything by the looks of it

It seems to be this one at the bottom left of the picture
