I don't like k&m controls for third person games. FPS yeah, but for third person I like a controller.

I thought this until I played Tomb Raider. Absolutely brilliant game using M+K, didn't even consider a controller at any point I was enjoying it so much.

I used my xbox controller for Batman AC because I hated playing with my thumb on the space bar 90% of the time (they hadn't put in the option of key mapping.
I also play Skyrim with xbox controller because I spent about 5 days playing it on the Xbox so the controls are all natural to me.

Other than those two it is M+k all the way for me :)

On the other hand, a couple of my mates have PC's and will only play with controllers, no matter what they are playing. Weirdos....

I...don't know what to say about that...11.99 for each train? Making Activision look like they just give away CoD DLC! :D

I suppose then you at least love and cherish each train. Rather than something like Forza where within a day you own pretty much every brand of supercar possible when all you really wanted to do was thrash your Civic Type-r around a bit more :(

I did with Grid 2. Bought all the super cars. Prefer the Focus.

As someone who has never played devil may cry but fancy giving it a go, which one should I buy do you think? I'm primarily looking at 3 or 4 as they're cheapest! :)

Can anybody recomend a decent cheap game for me, i haven't played single player (apart from a quick try of assassins creed which i hated the control method of, and the odd racing game) since Ultima Online was released, i've played mmo's exclusively ever since.

I'm partial to a good third person survival horror game, things like silent hill and resident evil, something that i can play in the dark and will give me a few good heart stopping jumps, preferably something more modern and with pretty good graphics and sound. Is there anything decent and cheap out there?

Metro, Mafia, Saints Row, Need for Speed, GTA, Sleeping Dogs, Just Cause 2

These are some good single player games I think. If you vote in the Golden Joysticks awards on Greeen Man Gaming you get Mafia 2 for free :)
