The whole "Worth over £50 RRP" scares me... Humble and indie bundles do that but say "WORTH OVER £130" when really they're all a load of rubbish.

But surely Square Enix will be generous at this time of the year... I may do it just in hope that I get Final Fantasy 7...

Edit: Nevermind, I did it. Damn you Rakk and Monkey, damn you.

While the Humble Bundles and others bandy around large RRPs I would have to say their quality of games is often better than Square Enix.... :p

I wasn't going to admit it, but as you (and Grimze) have, I did too :) 'sonly a fiver innit. Never know might get something good, and if not, can always use them as Christmas gifts :D

That's pretty much what I thought, and as a bonus I may have recovered from the previous nights Christmas party by the time the Steam keys come through on the Friday afternoon :)

It is like in MMOs when you use in-game currency to buy a sealed create/package that CAN contain awesome stuff...then you get an XP buff and feel proper miffed :)

Hopefully this box will at least have something you can use :)

Lol are you spying on me? I opened my daily gift on Rift last night and received a soubound XP buff, i'm at the cap level already and you can't even give soulbound items to your alts, are they taking the widdle?

Current deal at IndieGameStand looks interesting. A steampunk turn based game in the style of Laser Squad/X-Com called Airship Dragoon. Worth a look for 65p. :)

I see Funcom are selling the Secret World: Massive Edition for half price (£25) until the 17th. Contains all content released so far and some other stuff. Has anyone played this and is it worth getting? I was tempted once they got rid of the sub but my playtime is sporadic so I tend to play MMOs these days solo mainly.

Yes and yes if you like that kind of game, i have the Grandmaster pack which gives me free points every month for life, basically every issue that comes out i get for free with those points and what's left go on cosmetics. I's a fun game but pretty niche in its style. It's like Marmite, you either love it or hate it.

The Square Enix Store has a Christmas Box you can buy for £4.99 which is advertised to have about £50 worth of Gameage in it. Emails will be sent out on the 20th with the games included.

Sorry cant link it as its banned from my workplace.
