Big COD sale on Steam btw, - http://store.steampowered.com/sale/cod_franchise_sale?snr=1_41_4__42

The new ones are crap, but the older ww2 ones were pretty good ;)

Microsoft Studioes stuff is on steam sale too - http://store.steampowered.com/sale/microsoft_weekend

I've always been quite tempted to get one of the older CoD games.

And don't bother with the Halo game, its a crappy mobile port

How much DLC did they release for Ghosts. Jesus, £155 for the lot of it, I don't think so. £310 if it wasn't on sale. That's insane!

EDIT: Nevermind, that's all of the CoD games and DLC. Still charging £72.50 for all the Ghosts stuff though.

Cod 2 and World at War were pretty good. Wish they'd make a few more WW2 or maybe WW1 shooters.

The prices are pretty disappointing though. I mean its still 14.99 for black ops 1. Far too much imo.

I've got WaW, used to be my favourite game on my Xbox but now the multiplayer is just overrun with hackers. If you want to try a WW1 game, have a look at Verdun. That's the first attempt I've seen in recent years and it's not great if I'm honest, pretty much just bolt action rifles firing across some trenches and the occasional machine gun that destroys everyone.

Also I agree with them being too expensive. I thought paying like £8 was too expensive for WaW when I bought it earlier this year off Kinguin.

That is the problem with any Great War games...action would be firing from trenches...or running at the enemy who are firing from their trench :) Or riding horse, apparently :D

Couple of decent bundles on at the moment.

Humble Indie Bundle 12 - https://www.humblebundle.com/
Pay what you want to get - Steamworld Dig, Hammerwatch, Gunpoint
Beat the average (currently £4.60) to also get Papers Please, Luftrausers, Gone Home + more games coming apparently
Pay more than £6.20 to also get Prison Architect (early access)
4 game soundtracks included too.

Amazingly for me I only have 1 of these already - Papers, Please (very good btw). I've been looking out for Gone Home and Prison Architect as I've heard good things, and some of the others get good ratings too.

Bundle Stars FEAR Bundle - http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/fear-bundle/
£5.89 for FEAR (with Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate DLCs), FEAR 2 (with Reborn DLC), FEAR 3.

Not bad if you want a lot of FEAR I guess. :)

Shadowrun Returns is only £2.74 on Steam in the midweek sale. Deluxe edition for £4.74. An excellent wee game if you like turn-based combat and/or Shadowrun. :)

Not technically a game deal, but if anyone out there plays WOW still, the monthly subscription goes up by a pound a month in November. You'll have to set an auto top-up deal before November 13th to get it at 8.99 instead of 9.99.

I think its around 8 million still who actively pay the sub. Not that I do, just get included in on details since I did a free trial when building up my Hearthstone Deck.

If I'm sure of one thing, it'll be that WoW will still be here close to the end of the decade unless they release a direct sequel - the player base is far too entrenched.

The idea of it has never appealed to me personally. I never even played the trial. I watched a friend play it and it didn't look that fun to me.
