After reinstalling Sound Blaster Atlas it keeps bringing up "Please connect a Sound Blaster Atlas supported Device."

It doesn't bring up the driver in my device manager also.

You'll have to explain a little more....

Why are you reinstalling Atlas, have you reinstalled windows or something?

I've not seen that particular software being advertised on any other PCS machine so its thrown me a bit.

Does your sound card appear in device manager normally?

Is the sound working just now?

What is the part number/product code you're mentioning relating too?

The number I was referring to was under the laptop where it says P/N and S/N. I took a photo of the stickers that show it suppose to have 'Powered by Sound Blaster Atlas", but that file appears to be too large to send.

My Laptop is supposed to have Sound Blaster Atlas + SXFI Audio. That sound driver appears to be missing. I have the normal Realtek(R) audio but the software/driver that came with the laptop is gone. I bought the laptop last year. This is the second time it's happened. Customer Support gave me a link last time.

Do you want the Serial number, or what number do you want?

When I originally had my laptop for the first time I had this issue too. I had the application pre-installed but no driver for it, so I contacted support and they emailed me a link a link. I think the driver is suppose to be in my 10_09_SBX.zip download file under "My Downloads" on PC Specialists, but the driver didn't come with the download.

And think it is supposed to be displaying in device driver as I have seen others where it is supposed to be the device driver, but my main issue Is that the software doesn't think I have a supported device.

@Bhuna50 dealt with a similar issue with someone else who had their Application in Italian. (Sorry to tag you). Their thread was Called
"Sound Blaster Atlas malfunction"

My Microsoft Store was gltiching so I tried to reinstall it as resetting didn't working, and it deleted some software off the laptop somehow, such as geforce experience, control center and Sound Blaster Atlas. So I managed to get everything else apart from Sound Blaster Atlas. I managed to get the software from "My Downloads" on the PC Specialists website again and I had that message popup on the application. Someone had a similar issue to me last year and he was given a website where he could download something when he gave his Chassis number or product number. I don't really know what I'm looking for, but I gave the P/N that is near the S/N of the laptop on a white label on the bottom. They have a barcode too.

So I had this problem with my Valeon. For some reason the audio drivers which download automatically through windows are not recognised through the Atlas software. I had to manually install my audio drivers using the driver provided in my PCS download section*.

*Edit* - In your picture above it should be the driver titled w10_11_Audio.zip.

Would it be the setup.exe file within the folder?

It would yes.
@barlew I tried that now, but the installation just kept looping and the application still says the same thing. Because it kept looping I did cancel it, so I still have Realtek installed, but the driver for the app didn't work.

Should I uninstall the realtek driver myself through device manager and then use the installer via PCS?

Personally if I were you I would do the following:

1. Uninstall Atlas.
2. Uninstall your audio adapter through device manager.
3. Restart.
4. Install the audio driver from your PCS account.
5. Install your audio drivers.
6. Install atlas.

ALso what is the SBX driver you have in your download section.

By audio driver adapter do you mean Realtek(R) audio in Sound, Video and Controllers?

Oh, SBX zip file is where I got my Sound Blaster Atlas from, and it should have the driver in there, but I don't think the driver installed with it. I keep being sent that, but whenever I do it's just the same file I keep installing.

Yeh uninstall the realtek driver.

Excellent so install the Audio Drivers then Atlas.

The audio drivers do not install with Atlas they are two separate things.

I had to try a different way for the Realtek driver/ audio folder because it kept looping, but I will show what is in the SBX, and they don't look like drivers, only the application for Atlas.

Like I said before Atlas and the audio drivers are two separate things. There will not be an audio driver in your Atlas install you need to install the audio driver with the separate installer I previously mentioned.

Atlas just manages the EQ settings of your laptop.

When you say the realtek driver is looping what do you mean?

Then I don't think the audio driver for the software is installed. So I wouldn't know where to find that, as the only thing in the audio file was for the Realtek audio.

The looping was when the installer kept uninstalling and reinstalling Realtek over and over.

Also, I just noticed I am missing my Killer Networking software "Built in Killer 10/100/1000/2500Mb Base-TX Ethernet LAN", and I have no idea if any of those Downloads covers that.

Thats fine if you have realtek audios thats the driver you want. If its looping though im not sure what to suggest.
Have you rebooted and tried again?

I did say I managed to stop the looping. I uninstalled the realtek driver and then reinstalled it before rebooting. That fixed it. I then tried to reinstall the Sound Blaster Atlas App via the downloads, and now that is not appearing when I search for on my computer.

Sorry I missed that.

Is it showing in your list of installed applications?
