Has anyone bought the game yet?

What do you think of it?

On http://systemrequirementslab.com it sayd that I can play the game, but on minimum settings as my CPU isn't 'powerful' enough.

Should I be ok to run it on high settings if I decide to buy it?

Its a great game, runs well. The recommended specs IMO are tosh, you definitely don't need an i7 to run it well. My specs are in the sig below, I run it maxed out at 60+Fps easy

I am really enjoying it. Game runs fine at 5760 x 1080 all settings maxed on my rig.

Obviously those guys with 3 screens won't notice this so much but does anyone else think the FOV is way too low? The character takes up half my screen and I can't see much. I'm used to playing my games with high FOV and this is too low for me. I may be forced to wait until there is a fix as it affects how much I can enjoy the game.

I've heard the same (about the FOV) but will have to wait at least another 43 minutes for it to install before I can find out myself

Just got on now, finally got the DLC and the Season Pass Registered.

Not a bag game so far, not blown away by it yet but the driving is grim, might chuck in the old g-pad.

Yes, the Uplay not logging in is a right pain, but wow it sure is pretty once you are in!

General consensus on Steam seems to be that the optimization is poor and the graphics are nothing special considering how demanding it is.

TotalBuscuit couldn't run it on ultra at a constant 60fps with SLI'd Titans (with moderate AA) so I doubt anybody else will either.

Shame really, was hoping Ubi might learn from the mess that was the AC4 port. Oh well.

It seemed like they were on track for a near perfect release. I guess not.

With multiple delays I was expecting the game to be well optimized and bug free. Although, despite performance not being great the stability of the program itself is rock solid

With that said, its obviously not a port from the ps3/xbox 360's

I guess they could have ported from the newer xbox/ps4's version though. I have no idea, although i would hope not.

I wouldn't say its a console port but the quality of the PC version has been hit by consoles due to more time being spent on the consoles instead of PC.

Anyone seen this game offer 11520x2160 resolution. Thats 25 million pixels. No machine can do that!
