Won't boot at all, do you get a POST beep when you turn it on?

nothing other than green lights on GPU and mobo...no sounds or fan spin

ive taking mobo out and tried to figure it out but cant see whats wrong :(
taken out cpu, gpu, ram and made sure all connected ok and still nothing

feel so gutted atm and not sure what to do next

Did you connect the power cables from the motherboard to the case?

So you plug it in and the motherboard lights up but you get no POST beeps or anything and no fans spin etc.

Not trying to sound cheeky but did you remember both the motherboard PSU connector and the CPU PSU connector?

Do you have another PSU to test the system with (to rule out a PSU problem)?

Yeah all of those where connected sadly.

Don't own any pc parts to test this pc either.
Got my father in law coming on Sunday who knows more than what I do so hopefully he figures it out.

Maybe you can barrow psu from somebody to sort it out.Or you have other option like to get tool for a measure voltage in your psu.

Im sorry to hear you're having problems man. You seem to have been thorough in your breakdown in the problem. The only thing i can suggest follows on from what keynes suggested and make sure your front panel connectors are in the right connectors of your motherboard. the pins are so fidgety its easy to make a mistake. hope you get this sorted.

Ok little update on my pc build.

My father in law came round and took it all apart and started again.
After doing a few things we think I have a faulty motherboard :(

Also when I was sent the mobo it was only in a bag...my father in law said it should of had a sponge type layer to protect it.

Is that right? ?
There was damage to the inside of the box where the underneath pins stabbed the box so makes sense.
He used his own ram but that didn't help so mine should be ok. Gpu couldn't be tested as he didn't have a compatible card.

Should hopefully have a new mobo Wednesday or Thursday to try again!
