Fresh installed and the downloaded the office 365 apps but their performance is horrendous with absurd slowdown. Reverting back to windows 10 unless anyone has the 365 apps downloaded and working nicely and can tell me how?!
How did you install 365?

The usual way. Log into my 365 account online and click the 'install' button. However... it's now fixed and I've no idea how. Reinstalled Windows 11 fresh again. Redownloaded 365 apps again and installed them. Once again performance a shocker. But a few minutes later while doing other things the screen went black and then came back 5 seconds later. Clearly some display update. But since that screen black-out, the office apps now work as they should with no slowdown. Clearly a display issue before on the 4k panel that the apps didn't like but now they do. No idea what happened but at least I can now use Windows 11 and play around with it.

Sound like you hadn't configured windows and it installed drivers through windows update. You want to check your windows is properly configured or you'll face issues

Aside from letting windows update install all updates, how else would I configure it properly? How would I know if it wasn't?? Doesn't the auto update work for all drivers these days?

Post your spec I'm sure we can help, it's probably just a setting in the BIOS that needs changed to allow for Windows 11

I'm personally going to stick with 10. Nothing in Windows 11 appeals to me and they have a lot of creases to iron out

I know by looking at it mate it absolutely supports W11. It's a BIOS setting a bet, the CROSSHAIR HERO is about as top of the food chain as it gets

Yep, it's a very simple configuration change:

1. Press "Del" when the ASUS or ROG logo appears to enter the BIOS.
2. Go to Advanced\AMD fTPM configuration page and switch "TPM Device Selection" option to "Firmware TPM".

(From the ASUS page)

The PC health Check on my Intel NUC says it supports W11, but also says the updates are being rolled out in stages, so to wait for the upgrade to be available in the Windows Update page.

I suppose you could go to the Microsoft website and get the Windows 11 Installation Media or ISO
