Can't speak about the AMDs but I have the feeling you are gonna be Unlucky for 3080s for the year if you're pre-ordering on the Gen 3 release.

Steve, you're right it does support Gen 3. Scott, thanks I'll take a look at changing that - I assume because it's 2x16GB and not 4x8 despite the higher clock speed? A second M2 drive is out of budget unfortunately.

I didn't get the Watch Dogs code, talked to someone on the phone and said they were limited so you might have to contact Nvidia with a serial number to get it? Ended up cancelling my 3080 here and pre-ordered the Asus TUF. Gonna pop my 1070 in until it's available.
