mine is a 5900X, but people with orders from November are getting their builds, so that's why I suppose mine should be allocated already, otherwise if I keep waiting for a simultaneous delivery of 3080 and 5900X at the same time, I will receive my build in the far far future
since i'm 12th of Oct as well, it will be interesting if we both get our build status on the same day, since theoretically our CPU's should be allocated as I can see others getting builds with the same CPU who ordered much later. Yours is the 10900K?
strix cards won't be seen until late january/february at the best, that's the optimistic presumption. With standard 3080s it's about 45-65 working days wait, hard to say, depends on the deliveries PCS get
Nice! I wonder if you had a 5900X allocated from earlier or do they still get some stock? On day 51 myself, but still with 3080 in my build, so that's probably the holding point for me
if you're still waiting for the strix, the jumps won't help you until january/february sadly, that's when MAYBE they get a delivery. Not a nice thing to hear, but I was in the same boat
UK doesn't enter brexit deal until new year? and the only closures now are for passenger flights, cargo and supply lines always worked as usual during all the lockdowns. They can't just close the border fully for all supply lines, be it road, air or water
They probably allocated the parts earlier as this is one of the "oldest" orders as of today, so it's probably Ghosthud watching over the 3000 series orders and making sure the long waiters have their parts on hold for them
you're lucky that it's the same big ol' island for you, my build will have to somehow come through all of the midlands, southern UK, get into the line for La Manche and make the trip to the baltics! I wonder how DPD can do it in 2-3 days as stated. Hopefully the lockdowns and brexit won't make...
I had strix at the beginning, but swapped to standard after Ghosthud pointed out the issues with Asus supply line, I had 2 people from PCS confirm (in addition to Ghosthud) that this will not affect my queue position
I understand and I saw Ghosthud's posts, and I'm not accusing anyone, just pondering about how this situation could be made better without the need of people chasing their own orders like we see now, even if it's a small percentage of customers having to do that. In the end it's all down to PCS...
It seems more and more apparent that PCS somehow manage to miss people with longer pre-production times after a swap of components and need to be constantly chased after, there's something wrong within their chain of communication or the system that manages orders. It would be great if they...
