im just 1 user reporting it though. And then there was another user. And now yourself, so at least 3 cases that we know of. So PCS can see it isn’t an isolated issue was my point.
As I say, I would just swap it out for a SATA SSD for now until PCS can look into it and discuss with Clevo hopefully
That’s what I was saying in my first post on this thread, PCS and Clevo might not be aware. A lot of users don’t go for 2 .M2 drives and just have 1 or 1 and a SATA Drive. So it needs raising with PCS so they can discuss with Clevo to see if it can resolved.
in the meantime, I would just use 1...
It's an issue with the board chipset I believe. I had the same issue, see here and another user had the same problem here
Not sure if its a physical limiation with the board and perhaps PCI\E bandwith or whether it can be resolved with a BIOS update. For the latter, that would be down to PCS...
That will be down to the chassis manufacturer and the bios they use. As yours is an Intel processor, you should be able to use Intel XTU to change wattage and voltages and then use HWInfo 64 to monitor the temps, voltages and Watts.
I’m pretty sure I read that yes but not absolutely certain, was mentioned in forum post I think.
Very nice, sounds a good trip. Did a Heathrow to Malaga myself yesterday:cool:
I’ve read that as it stands, you can’t open doors on the Neo.
With that altitude, how much fuel and payload on board? May have just been too heavy for 350?
Yeah the default aircraft wouldn’t cut it for me just because of the amount of missing features I would need, which is why I’m in no rush...
Strange, I’ve never had any issues on my Nova with screen brightness. Guessing it may be a specific batch of panels used or a certain video controller chip
I would go with 16GB ram unless you are doing a lot of heavy rendering or modelling etc. Or plan to the laptop for flight sims which do use more RAM. And drop BullGuard. Do you need the new Windows license? Do you need the laptop to be portable or will you only ever use it at home?
I would make some changes here -
Change the RAM to 2666MHZ 2x8GB stick
Get rid of the intel drive, they aren’t very good. Go for the PCS one or the Samsung one if you can spend a little extra. Get rid of BullGuard, it’s awful.
Do you need a new copy of Windows or do you have a license you can...
.250mv jumps?! Damn that’s a shame it’s so big. .250mv is huge, too big. For example 1v would be unstable for most boost clocks and 1.25v would spike temps near enough stock. Shame it’s not 0.50mv or even 0.100mv would be ok
Very interesting that frequency and voltage can now be set in the bios. No issues with screen brightness here but I’m tempted to upgrade just because of the voltage tweak. Do the same settings that you were using in Ryzen Master still work ok if you set them via bios?
Which config have you gone for?On a side note, I think I pointed this out on my OP, but the thermals on the Nova at all stock settings are absolutely fine. It’s only the fan noise that led me to go down the undervolt route. If you are using it in a room where fan noise isn’t an issue and you’re...
No problem at all,its definitely a worthwhile exercise. I too am happy with my current config and temps are great. I know I’ve said it previously but the Nova in this config is an absolute monster. I’ve just purchased a curved 27inch 1440p QHD Samsung to hook it up to, mainly for flight sim use...
