PCSPECIALIST A properly cooled and future proofed spec?

256GB is waaaaaay overkill, so lets cut that RAM down and put it into something else :) 32GB max I'd say for what your needs are currently

PCSPECIALIST Switch 3080 to 3090 for a faster build?

The latest I've seen someone get a 3090 build was around 12 working days but this might've just been the odd occasion, I'm on working day 10 at the moment

    PCSPECIALIST FedEx being weird

The company I work for ships to Ireland from the UK in 2-3 business days on Express so I would only assume it's the same here with PCS, not 100% sure though so can't confirm. FedEx have been pretty awful recently even shipping to the US (not for PCS), so it might just be a combo of FedEx being...

    PCSPECIALIST FedEx being weird

I totally get your point, don't worry! It is still possible for parcels to reach Ireland within 1-2 days, especially on an Express option. Yeah, now Brexit occurred there are more chances of delays to Ireland but it is definitely still possible. Never take a delivery method and look at it as a...

    PCSPECIALIST FedEx being weird

Delivery timeframes from a company are never guaranteed. They are expected delivery timeframes given out based on hundreds, if not thousands of other orders and it's possible for some parcels to become delayed. No matter what company you're ordering from a delay with a courier is always possible...

PCSPECIALIST stupid question about water cooling

G'ah! 🤦‍♂️ Only just woke up...I shouldn't come on the forums within the first hour 🤣

PCSPECIALIST stupid question about water cooling

No question is a stupid question :) PCS will fill it for you - then every year or two you would need to send it back for them to clean the loops for you and give it a re-fill

    PCSPECIALIST Top Tier Gaming/Streaming Build

Quite a few things I'd change here, I'll list them below so others can have a take on it :) 1) If you're going to be streaming, editing etc I'd recommend going up to 32GB RAM here. 2x16 sticks would be ideal 2) If possible, I'd change the 2TB HDD to a 2TB SSD, HDD's are very slow these days...

    PCSPECIALIST Financial HELP PLS

That's completely fine to do so, but you may end up paying more than £1300 in monthly payments due to the interest so it's up to you if you'd like to go this route :)
  15. TomBerry

    PCSPECIALIST Financial HELP PLS

That's correct, so anything NOT paid off after the first 12 months would then go into monthly payments, however you will be charged the price with interest on top. If you pay it off within the 12 months you will pay the £2700 and no interest

    PCSPECIALIST DPD

I personally love DPD, they handle it with care and you're able to see a live map of where your parcel is when it's a few stops away :) gets you excited and then you can window-gaze waiting for it!

    PCSPECIALIST I neeeed help

As far as I'm aware, parcels can't be shipped to Ireland on a Next Day Delivery service now. The company I work for we used to be able to send it on Next Day Delivery but due to the UK now technically not being in the EU there's more delays and procedures companies have to go through. It's a...

    PCSPECIALIST FedEx being weird

Customs can usually take up to 72 hours for it to be cleared, usually quicker. If your parcel is selected for an advanced screening it can take up to 10 days although it's unlikely to be selected at random :)
