I'm quite disappointed that Intel have learned nothing after the 9 series and the 10 series of chips is pretty much just more of the same but even more hungrier and hotter that they now need to include an asterisk on the boost speed advertising and giving a fancy new thermal based boost lol.

the cpu has a heat pipe connecting to the gpu's heat sink. Not my image, got this from google images

I have a single heatsink that comes off in one big chunk and it covers the heatsink and cpu should I just leave the gpu alone or will I need to do that too since I took off the heatsink?

I did a google search on a certain other vendor who is known for selling Clevo upgrades. They're not selling any Supers but a 2080 upgrade kit + Bios is £1150, which is the price of an entry level laptop, and then I'll be left holding an MXM card that is difficult to resell. I can only see 2080...

I just went and checked the upgrade part of the order and I think you're right. Hmff, I'm quite sad now, i was pretty sure that the GPU was upgrade-able if i sent it into PCS. So I guess the GPU come with the chassis then and even then don't swap them out?

Are the supers being sold here? I can't see any advertised. I got an octane VI, I was under the impression the GPU was able to be swapped out.

Sorry you are correct, thanks for correcting me there, I was thinking about the gaming speeds from memory. 4.2Ghz is indeed the peak at full throttle.
