Battlefield 4.... Is it worth it?

Dad won't lwt mw have the router on all night, so it it safe for me to pause the download and carry on tomorrow when I switch the computer back on? Its about 9 hours to download now.

We used to have our router at work on a timer to turn on at 17.30 and turn back on at 07.30. The BT engineer told us to stop doing that because it would do more harm than good.

Yeah turning the router off all the time eventually can screw it up. Mine's been on all day every day for about 3 years now.

R&D stands for Research and Development, it sounds like a Beta version. Redownload Origin.

EDIT: Actually it looks as though you can start Origin in R&D mode. Leave it and see how it goes.

There was something wrong with it before and I followed those instructions. It must have been that what caused it. I deleted the file and reopened Origin with no effect.

Anyway I deleted it and re-downloaded. Had some trouble signing in. It was saying that I needed to be online. Stupid thing.

I tried signing in on the website and it was saying the either my email or password was wrong (which they weren't). It eventually let me sign in.

I got the Deluxe Edition since it was the only edition in the shop.

I tried playing the Test Range to get a hang of the PC controls and I seem to be ok with them. Think I'll start the campaign after I've had my dinner :)

I was getting that a lot yesterday, it's happened to me loads of times. Nothing to worry about, it will right itself. It's just mega annoying when it happens mid round and you get kicked out. In fact it just happened again as I was typing this.

Hi everyone,

Having problems playing BF4. Got a brand new PC. Used my product code to officially download the game with Origin. It did stall at 20% indicating an 'internal error with DirectX (apparently a very common theme if you google it!), however, I pressed continue a few times and surprisingly it continued to successfully download.

Well, I thought so. I now can't get the game to work in anyway shape or form.

Please assist?
