Just a quick update for anyone who is interested, I finally received a response via email today stating that there was no stock issues regarding my order they are just especially busy with the run up to Christmas and that my order will be going into production soon...now on the 11 working day off pre production.The final piece of the puzzle I was waiting for which confirms what I suspected that there was no stock issues and that my order for some reason is getting bypassed by others that have been placed after mine, for whatever reason I don't really care anymore, maybe they didn't like the look of my real name or where I'm from who knows. I would love to see how there queuing system works and would question the fairness of this system. Like I said I'm just not bothered anymore the excitement has gone I am just praying that when I finally do receive my new laptop that it is in perfect condition.

I would have thought that the laptop and desktop queues were separate. It does appear that pcspecialist seems to be more popular for their laptops (just look at the review boards, you hardly see any desktop reviews!)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that there are different queues for laptops, desktops, mini pc's as well, thus the reason they have different estimated lead times.

12th working day for me, still in Pre Production.
It's a Laptop order aswell by the way.
The best part is there is evidence here on these forums of someone who ordered a laptop the same day as me, there's went into production and testing and awaiting dispatch after 6 working days and no they didnt choose fast track. Now you can begin to understand my frustration and disappointment. I am starting to think do they just throw the order numbers into a hat and pick them at random and it's just luck of the draw. Especially when you see these lead times for the last 5 days for laptops. You ask why am I so unlucky?

I am patient, like I said I don't care how long it takes to get here. I was being sarcastic. I think third world children are more than unlucky. How you can joke or bring that into an argument is just sick. Like I said I am just questioning how there queing system works as all the evidence is pointing to that it is unfair.

Yeah there are a lot of unfair things in the world I agree, but when people are banging on about excellent customer service and not all customers are being treated equally. I just thought I'd put my point across cos I don't like having the .... took out of me when my money is as good as anyone else's. I'm quite happy now i have made my point and put my case across as far as I'm concerned the case is closed.

Just to confirm, I ordered a PC not a laptop if you were referring to me. I understand your annoyances with your longer wait but aren't you going a bit OTT with your incessant moaning? If you are this impatient why didn't you fast track your order? *dives for cover*
Lol, Hi jwa2626, first of all I do apologise for high jacking your thread this was no way aimed at you or anyone else, I'm not bothered that my is going to take longer, I'm in no major hurry to get mine which is why I didn't fast track. It's just I got simply annoyed when you see here on the forum that other people are getting sorted first who paid after you. If im in a shop or any queue and i see someone pushing in i cant just stand there and ignore it, i just don't think it's fair and it annoys me. In this case it's not the customers fault. Imagine standing at the front of the queue and the cashier started serving the people behind you and ignored you. Would you just stand there and think never mind they will serve me sooner or later? Anyhow trust me I am not angry or ratty or anything else. I just wanted to have a rant basically and get it of my chest and prove my point. It feels a lot better now

Hi sorry if it ain't clear the point being for whatever reason, they took my money there were no parts missing that could have slowed down my order, but for whatever reason they decided to build other peoples computers who paid after me and someone who ordered a laptop on the same date as me built theres after 6 working days but decided to ignore my order. I always thought you serve people in order of first come first serve and did things fairly. I must be missing something because this obviously hasn't been the case here. Anyhow I'm going to bed now and probably won't post anything on here for a while, I hope everyone has a great Christmas and new year. Chow for now.
Jedimaca your order will not have been ignored, its possible one laptop snuck through in virtually fast track time (its seems that occasionally one does from reading the forums over the past few years), but generally they will get worked on in order.
As PCS said they just have a whole lot of orders at the moment so things are taking longer.
I know I saw in some thread someone got a desktop in building in about 6 days, don't remember seeing a laptop in 6 days, but then my memory is a bit rubbish.
Also I know you are annoyed but please try to watch your language, these are family friendly forums.

Hi Rakk I did want to leave it there but now I feel compelled to reply. First of all I haven't swore anywhere on these forums I used abbreviations or symbols if people see swear words it's up to them but they could mean anything. I am a family person and have 2 young kids and make a conscious effort never to swear. Ordered the same day the only difference I can see is that he spent more money, do I have to start a whole new debate on weather it's fair if somebody spends more money should they get priority. Not to mention the other 90+ % people who got there laptops in the last fortnight according to the lead tables. Should I start a new thread with a survey to see how many people actually get there laptops on time to dismiss the lead tables? I am happy to leave it as it is I wish people would stop fuelling the fire and throwing ammunition on for me to use. It looks bad enough for pcs as it is, like I mentioned earlier IMO the whole lead tables and forum is a mine field for pcs. I grow weary of this debate now as much as I have enjoyed it i am going to delete my account. Or maybe create a new one with a new alias. Who knows. Actually, even when using symbols instead, it's blatantly obvious what it means and most kids (and adults) would know exactly what you meant as well, if it's symbols instead of a word, its more than likely a swear word
So please please try not to.
