Rising Star
I have both positive and negative feedback on DPD for this particular delivery.
Positive:
Kept the tracking fairly updated.
Arrived exactly on 7:17AM, which was the start of the one hour window.
The Driver never had a bad attitude or anything.
Negative:
The Driver was speaking on a headset while bringing the boxes over, therefor quite distracted.
He decided to carry both the monitor box and the computer box over at the same time, so only had ahold of the computer box within one of the hand slots, so the package was actually on its side - He placed the screen down, but then as placing the computer down with one hand still, the box suddenly torn (Not completely, but enough for the next bit to happen) and dropped toward the floor, though luckily it was only about an inch from the floor already.
I opened the door so he could bring the computer box in, but instead he left it mostly outside of the door, I looked over the box with no signs of any damage that I could see, besides where the box torn, thereafter signing and before I had a chance to ask if he could just bring it a bit further in to the hall, he was off and getting in the van.
--------------
I was a bit paranoid by that point, what with his sharpish retreat. So I brought the boxes in to the living room and was half-scared to open and check everything was right - But soon after checked it thoroughly enough to see that the warning tape was intact and the box was well sealed and proceeded to open it.
I was quite annoyed that in the past I've ordered things like clothing online and they've been delivered by DPD, of which were handled more carefully than an expensive set of technological items! Not to mention it was the same delivery driver too, funnily enough. In the past I've had a not so bad experience, having several or more deliveries, but with careless handling of something a lot more expensive than just about everything I've ordered and had delivered by them altogether, they've dropped in respect by some amount.
