Two problems with PC

If you have tried all the suggestions posted including the trouble shooting in the links provided a re-install of the operating system might be the next move.
One other thing I can think of is to change quality settings on the player by clicking on the small "gear wheel" icon, but I doubt it will make any difference.

Edit: Do I have to reinstall all the drivers for GPU and Monitor, or will they stay on the computer if I choose the custom setting? And I should erase disc when I get the option?

I wouldn't do a re-install of the OS unless you're 100% sure you have tried and covered everything suggested in this thread including links,
I think the solution must be in there somewhere, but if you do decide on reinstalling the OS,instructions are given in the welcome booklet and yes,all drivers and programs will need to be installed again,be sure to back up any important data.

I've done what I can and I can't see a way to fix the problem. So I think I'll do the reinstall.

I've backed up My Documents on an external harddrive and noted down the programmes I've used.

I didn't do a reinstall of Windows. My dad looked at it this morning and I tried Chrome and Youtube works. So I'll be using this browser.
