I'm sure I asked earlier and cant remember what you said, but does it happen on other sites, or just this one?

When you did a system restore was it to a restore point from before the problem started or from a restore point when the problem was happening, cos if the restore point was after the problem started then that's why it probably won't have fixed it.

Possibly a Windows update could have caused the issue (that is pure speculation on my part please note)

I did it from the 11th which is when I still have the problem. (It was a waste of time doing it really).

But at least I have the flash player key back

No video works now, even directly on the Youtube website

So far I have tried
  • Uninstall/reinstall Flash Player
  • Uninstall/Reinstall GPU Driver
  • Run full Antivirus scan
  • Turn all addons off
  • Cleared Browser Cache
  • System Restore
  • Tried Internet Explorer
  • Hardware Acceleration disabled/enabled
  • Started Firefox in Safe Mode

I reset Firefox. It seemed to work for a while. But now I'm back to square one.

Try reinstalling Java, open "Uninstall or change a program" from "Programs and Features" (Windows7) in control panel,
Uninstall all Java listings, reinstall from link then restart computer,

At this point i would just suggest a Windows Re installation. We probably could have done it numerous times by now :)

If you have backed up all your data that would be my next port of call if nothing before has worked.

Dad is going to ring PCS tomorrow. I'm not saying anything about this thread.

They'll probably say that they can't do anything about it and I need to do a reinstall

There open Saturday morning too if thats any help.

Im sure PCS will do their best to aid you in this situation, they might have some other suggestions or remote log in.

Not sure what else they can suggest though to be honest.

It is worth bearing in mind they don't provide software support, so may be unable to help. However I'd imagine a reinstall is going to be relatively painless by now (assuming you can/have backed up your data).
