Well, lets put it like this, for the last year I've been running it on a 650W supply lol and it hasn't had any issues so I would think 850W should be plenty :)
Hehe, I've already put it off for long enough since my original plans for July last year, not waiting any longer, and its my birthday...
I've decided I'm happy with the AIO being front mounted :)
And yes I was considering the H115i, but for the Z690 board only the RGB 6000 RAM can be used (PCS apparently found some issues with the smaller non-RGB 6000 RAM and the Z690) so I think it'd be front mounted anyway, so I thought I'd...
So, this is my thoughts for my new machine that I've been wanting to get for a bit
Case
CORSAIR iCUE 4000X RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i7 16-Core Processor i7-13700K (3.4GHz) 36MB Cache
Motherboard
ASUS® ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI (LGA1700, USB 3.2, PCIe...
@Empxthy if you could try to keep all your questions/comments about your spec in one thread please, makes it easier for people to see whats going on and what questions have already been asked and answered
Have you used one of those driver update tools rather than either Geforce Experience/the NVidia site and Windows Update to update your drivers?
I'm asking this because someone on the discord channel has had a very similar issue and was using one of the driver update tools - which are a very...
There are still many using Win10 (including myself), I would expect games to still run perfectly fine on Win10, it's likely something else causing your issues.
Maybe because your machine has quite old components and is struggling to run because of them, it could however be a number of different...
Have you just received it?
If so I'm wondering if the graphics card may have become dislodged in transit, or maybe when you were removing the foam packing inside the PC (not all have it but I believe most get the added packing) - either of those two can happen, and it is fairly simple to reseat...
Firstly if you have a graphics card in your machine did you plug the HDMI cable from your monitor into the graphics card ports or the motherboard ports - it wont work if you use the motherboard ports, you need to use the graphics card ports
If you dont know whether you have a graphics card or...
You will have to see if there are any SATA data and power cables in the machine already and if not you will need some - if it was a PCS machine all spare cables would've been provided anyway - those cables you showed are not the ones you need for it
As said since its not a PCSpecialist machine...
As long as you dont damage anything in the process you can swap stuff around - with the exception of the case and/or motherboard
RAM can be very finicky now-a-days, so it can be that unless its the exact same model it may not play well (ie not boot), unless yorue really really really lucky...
As IRLRobinS said if its plugged into the wrong place it wont work anyways, so please check that first, if you definitely have the monitor plugged into the graphics card then you need to take note of the beeps that the machine is making, they are an error code and will give hints - ie how many...
Well if you use the packaging the PCS supply then its properly covered by PCS's insurance during transit, so unless you've got really destruction proof packaging of your own, I would get some from them.
@Steveyg was not meaning to build one yourself, more to custom-spec one on PCSpecailists configurator and they will built and test it for you before sending out, it will take a bit longer than a next-day build (like the black friday deals) but then you get exactly what you need
That sounds like my previous car, it had an unknown water seepage problem for a good while somewhere and omg you shoulda seen the amount of condensation I got, enough that when it was cold the inside of the windscreen would have ice on it as well as the outside (and no it was definitely not...
It may well be condensation - I've definitely heard of people reporting that before (due to temperature differences in courier vans and final destination normally as its normally after delivery) - so let it dry out completely before even thinking about turning it on.
I would definitely however...
