I remember when these temps started to become the norm (also around the time the industry started calling them notebooks instead of laptops in a bid to prevent people using them on their laps :) ) and it was a very bitter pill to swallow when you spend your whole IT life trying to keep things as...
We are keeping an eye on this, if the update works we will request people ask us for it so we can guide the, it's quite easy to do but obviously BIOS related, which means if it goes wrong it goes WRONG! Hope to have the info available for this ready to go very soon.
I notice a lot of foam building up in your pipes in the last image, this will show off the markings more so. I would definitely get in touch with our team to look at replacing this tube and potentially having a look at the pump operation too as this may be causing the foaming.
Yes please contact us we need to look at replacing that board! :) You're covered by the warranty so this should be fine, please keep the broken chip somewhere safe and return it with it if you do so!
Just in case Realtek's driver can help - try here: https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/rtl8192ee-software
Go for the 2nd (PCI-Express) option. Try installing this and see if it helps, if its the same let me know we can look at replacing the card for you.
I have just fished your emails out and had a look for you. The system logs aren't telling us anything useful sadly. The dump files are all showing up blank (0kb) could you check your minidump folder and see if they show up as 0kb on your end? Feel free to DM me (click my avatar and press 'Start...
I can confirm the system you have uses an ARGB connector (that your motherboard doesn't have). As a result, all lighting should be done via the 'LED' button on the top of your case. Let me know if this works :)
Morning B Poot :)
Very nice spec, always reminds me I need to upgrade...
We mount the AIO cooler on the front when the top area cannot be used, usually due to the RAM/motherboard shroud. As long as the cooler works efficiently; the air being passed into the PC won't be too warm and shouldn't...
Morning Rouchie, I haven't played much with the Scenes settings, but I'll have a look into it today and re-post on here if I find something, if not we'll do another remote session. I would recommend reinstalling like Spydertracks requested this may help reset a bad config if it applied one early...
Hmmm.... It sounds like the drive may have corrupted. If you want to give our guys a call on 0333 011 7000 they can check remotely for you, but I think the drive may have died sadly :( They will be able to confirm fairly quickly and help you get it replaced if this is the case. If it's just gone...
This is quite normal on modern laptops, they can fluctuate between 30 and 60 quite a bit as the fans don't really kick in until after this (otherwise you'd get wildly fluctuating fans very often). They focus more on the upper limits these days. As MartinR36 mentioned the full-load temps are the...
It seems like something is interfering with it, good shout on the Ubuntu test. It's like a second opinion ready to go :)
I know the antennae on this model are physically attached and cannot be removed.
Can you go to Device Manager and strip out the driver by uninstalling it (please press...
I'm really sorry to hear about this Fawn. It does look like the 2nd drive has run into an issue. Could you try the following, please?
Right Click Start Menu -> Click 'Windows Powershell (Admin)'
Type in: chkdsk d: /r /f
Press Enter
It should do a complete disk check on the drive, I expect it...
All looks very good, depending on which games you want to play I'd probably recommend the GTX 1050 so it can handle everything, but for all your other uses the spec looks fine. The PSU is a little over but this will allow you to upgrade later and the difference between the 350 and 450 is so...
